Terms & Conditions
RESERVATIONS
We gladly accept reservations made by telephone or email.
Customers wishing to add any additional guests to an existing reservation will be charged accordingly & any existing reservations will be automatically updated & reflected in the customers room bill. For any accommodation reservations of 1 night a deposit equal to the total amount of the booking fee will be charged. For any accommodation reservations of 2 nights or more a deposit equal to 50% of the total amount will be charged upon time of booking.
DISABILITY ACCESS
To avoid using the steps into the main entrance of the Hotel our disabled access ramp can be found at the very front of the building. The internal Hotel lift services all floors, with many rooms on the same level. Ground floor rooms are also available for customers with any mobility concerns (All rooms are subject to availability at time of booking). We kindly ask that when making a reservation the hotel is made aware of all your needs & requirements so that we can best tailor your stay to suit all of your needs. The Hotel does not have disable specific rooms however some rooms do have grab rails in bath & shower areas to help aid with mobility when using such facilities.
Disabled toilet facilities can be found on the ground floor along with baby change.
BEDROOMS
All bedrooms have private facilities, complimentary toiletries, hairdryer, remote control television with radio, internal telephone, WIFI access and beverage making facilities.
PREMIER ROOMS
Both Premier Rooms have bay windows offering unrestricted views of the bay. Premier Rooms can be used as double or twin rooms depending on the requirements of the customer. In addition you will also receive bathrobes & slippers.
SINGLE ROOMS
All single rooms are as stated and only able to accommodate the single traveller.
TWIN / DOUBLE ROOMS
Most Twin & Double Rooms offer a side bay view with some slightly more restricted than others,
SIDE SEA VIEW ROOMS
These spacious rooms offer views looking towards the hotel garden & Gyllyngvase beach. All Side Sea Garden View rooms have baths with showers over giving you the chance to relax with a nice long soak after a long day exploring the area. The Side Sea View Twin room takes in the view of Pendennis Castle on the opposite side of the hotel.
CLASSIC DOUBLE ROOMS
Our Classic Rooms offer some of the best views in the hotel looking out over the bay & towards Gyllyngvase Beach. All rooms have walk in showers.
CHILDREN’S TARIFF
Well behaved children are welcome at The Membly Hall Hotel, but are not to be left unsupervised. High chairs and cots are available on request.
RATES

*3-5 years £10 per night
*6 -10 years £20 per night / 11 -13 years £28 per night / 13 -15 years £35 per night
* Persons 6yrs and older are chargeable as adults
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Free on-site parking is available at the Hotel, however the Hotel does not accept responsibility for damage or theft of vehicles or contents whilst parked on site. Check In to bedrooms is available from 3pm; however an earlier Check In may be possible upon request if rooms are ready. Check Out from rooms is 10.30am on day of departure.
HOTEL PARKING
Car Parking is available at the Hotel, however we are unable to offer reserved spaces for this service. All spaces are on a first come 1st come 1st serve basis. Parking spaces can be found at the front of the building or in the smaller Car Park at the rear of the building. Should parking be unavailable at the Hotel then there is a very large public pay & display car park less than a 5 minute walk from us directly opposite Gyllyngvase beach.
CANCELLATIONS
Covid19 Cancellation Policy
During the current health crisis situation we do advise all guests to consider HOLIDAY INSURANCE COVER (including COVID19 COVER) to help in the event of a cancellation of Non Refundable Bookings.
Please note that if the Hotel is unable to open due to Government Lockdown, any monies paid will be refunded & we will defer any reservation dates if required. Prices of reservation deferrals may vary in price from original booking.
Any processed re-funds when the Hotel has been removed from lockdown will incur a £12.00 administration fee or 4% of the refunded amount, which ever is greater.
Standard Cancellation Policy
Cancellation is free of charge up to 56 days or more prior to arrival. 100% of total amount is chargeable if cancelled 56 days or less prior to arrival or in case of no show, (Should we manage to re-sell cancelled accommodation, charges will only apply to any un-sold dates) Any processed re-fund transactions will incur a £12.00 admin charge or 4% of the refunded amount, which ever is greater.
DINING
Reservations are required for customers wishing to dine in the restaurant choosing the Table D'hote menu, cost per person £33.99. Alternative dining options such as our Brassier menu & Lounge Bar menu do not require any reservations.
Reservations are required for breakfast dining, any additional guest reservations will automatically will be charged to your room at £17.99 per person.
*Failure to cancel any dining reservations made prior to date of reservation will be charged at the total cost of the menu. Please see separate T's & C's for function cancellation policy.
Dining Room Dress Code - Attire for dining in the Hotel Restaurant is Smart Casual, Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times.
PAYMENT
All major credit and debit cards are accepted apart from AMEX which we do not currently accept. The Hotel reserves the right to ask for alternative payment or further identification if necessary. We unfortunately no longer accept Cheques as a form of payment. Any room accounts are to be settled upon departure day.
FIRE SAFETY
The Hotel is fitted with the latest fully addressable fire alarm system. Please make yourself aware of the fire exits and full fire emergency procedures, which are displayed in your room. Any attempt to tamper or remove the smoke detectors in the room is deemed a criminal offence, they are there for your safety and the safety of others.
WINDOWS
We draw your attention to the dangers of open windows in rooms where there are small children, we kindly ask all parents to be mindful of the risk of an accident.
SMOKING
The Hotel operates a NO SMOKING Policy throughout the Bedrooms and all public areas including the garden terrace (this includes E-CIGARETTES). We kindly ask that all cigarettes once finished are disposed of in the bins provided, therefore helping us to keep the grounds tidy for other guests.
DOGS
Unfortunately we do not accept pets, with the exception of guide dogs.

DAMAGE OR LOSS OF HOTEL PROPERTY
Damage caused to room contents such as furniture / upholstery's / amenities will be charged for the full amount or replacement item and any installation costings. Loss of Room Keys will result in a chargeable amount of £400.00, this fee is charged for labour of locksmith, replacement locks-keys-key fob & electronic key fob. This amount will be charged directly to the Credit / Debit card on file. Return of lost keys will result in a full refund once they are received by the Hotel. Any further damage, loss or removal of hotel property will be charged accordingly.
VALUABLES
The Hotel cannot be held responsible for articles of value other than those deposited with Reception for safe custody in the Hotel safe, for which a receipt will be given.
MEDICAL & DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
Please advise Reception of any medical conditions or dietary requirements you may have at the time of booking which could affect your health, safety and welfare during your stay.
